I can’t believe I haven’t been in here sooner! Wow, it was amazing! I had the penne Γ  la vodka and added grilled chicken to it, it was so delicious and a great portion of food. I asked for a side salad on the side and that was SO fresh, the dressing was perfect. I will definitely be coming back here. Last but not least, the service was AMAZING. It’s rare to get great service nowadays, but this place had it all. Super happy I decided to try them out, will def be going back!

The scratch made dinner options and specials are wonderful and directly show the chefs experiences and family influence. Great back patio with umbrellas. Sandwiches are great and the do offer GF bread. Do not sleep on the desserts. I had a made in house lemon cheesecake that was amazing!

My husband and I went there for the 2nd time. Very good and friendly waitress. Food is very fresh and was told vegetables come from local farm. We feel good about supporting local. Pictured are the smothered pork chops that were one of the daily specials. Last time my husband got the pot pie and I got the Cajun grilled chicken bowl. So good! Was told the chef can make things not on the menu as well plus they cater! We will be back.

Such a great little place. They have excellent, soup. (get the bowl it's so good) The chicken noodle was delicious and hit the spot on a cold day. The sandwiches are excellent and so are the salads. Although you order at the register, they will bring your food to your table. The staff is really friendly and are genuinely happy to serve you. They also have wonderful specials.

I've passed by this spot many times, but this was my first time visiting. We were immediately greeted with a warm welcome when we walked through the door. Asked if we were dining in or taking to go, we were told we could take a seat anywhere, and the waitress quickly came out to tell us about the spot, and the specials they were currently offering. She told us it is a family owned spot and the chef makes many of the sauces from scratch. We looked through the menu, they have a variety of soups, salads, sandwiches and rotating entrees. Struggling to settle on one item, my wife and I decided to share the Penne a la vodka sauce and a Cajun Grill Chicken bowl. The food came out pretty quickly, and the looked and smelled great. The smells were a good indicator, as we began eating we realized it tasted just as good as it smelled! This food was great, but I definitely enjoyed the penne the most. The sauce was delicious! Basil is a true gem, and a spot I'm wishing I had tried sooner. We would certainly recommend this to anyone looking for a good "home cooked" meal. The staff was incredibly friendly from the moment we walked in to the time we left. We will certainly return.
